Why can't I connect to a WiFi network when the camera is already within the signal range of WiFi?
In the following three cases, the camera will not connect to the WiFi network:
1. The WiFi name or password contains any of the following characters, which will cause the WiFi connection to fail: ' "" & = $ ` \;
2. The WiFi does not have any security settings, i.e. a WiFi network without a password;
3. Change the WiFi needs a pop-up window for secondary verification, such as WiFi networks in shopping malls or coffee shops, which will have a pop-up window after connecting that requires clicking to confirm or entering a phone number for secondary verification.

1. Why is Aicoco Studio Lite running, but no camera can be found, or a previously connected camera stays offline?
Please check:
- The camera is properly networked and on the same WiFi network as the computer;
- Whether the camera is in "Wireless Camera" mode and in working condition;
- Whether the computer has enabled the system network proxy service or third-party network proxy software. If it is enabled, please check if the proxy configuration is correct and check the box "Do not use proxy server for local (Internet) addresses", or close the proxy service.
2. Aicoco Studio Lite has successfully connected to the camera, and has also successfully called up the camera's image in the third-party software, but the camera status displayed by the software still idle?
This is probably caused by the fact that the user rights used when running third-party software are not the same as used when running the software.Close any software and open it again with the same user rights to eliminate this phenomenon.
1. Use the USB cable that comes with the onAir to make the connection to your computer device.
2. Follow the camera screen prompts to select the mode in which it will be used as a USB camera.

- Make sure your internet connection is stable and try using a high-speed internet connection.
- Adjust the live broadcast resolution and bit rate, and reduce the image quality to reduce network transmission pressure.
- Close other applications that consume network bandwidth.
- If lag persists, please try reconnecting to the network or restarting the device. - What is the heat threshold of onAir?
The heating threshold is 70°C, and the recommended ambient temperature is -20°C ~ 40°C (-4°F ~ 104°F). - When the camera is working, it feels very hot to the touch. Is this normal?
The temperature of the camera when it is working is related to many factors, such as working video specifications, whether the screen is always on, whether it is charging, ambient temperature, whether it is exposed to direct sunlight, etc.
Therefore, if the camera is working, the video specifications are high, the screen is always on, charging while working, the environment is very hot, and it is exposed to direct sunlight, then it is normal for the camera body to turn hot.
But don't worry. According to internal laboratory testing, the camera can still maintain normal operation of 4K video specifications at an ambient temperature of 70°C.
- What kind of WiFi wireless network should be chosen for onAir?
In order to ensure the best effect, it is recommended to give priority to connecting to 5GHz or WiFi wireless networks containing the 5GHz band; It is also recommended to ensure that the onAir is within visual range of the WiFi router/ hotspot when connecting. - What is the difference between the video encoding H.265 and H.264?
H.265 (also known as HEVC) has higher video quality, H.264 has better video compatibility. When you are not sure if the platform or playback device you are going to stream on supports H.265 (HEVC), it is recommended to use H.264. - How should I choose the metering mode?
Choose the appropriate metering method based on different live broadcast/shooting themes:
- When the theme of the live stream/ shooting is mainly landscape, and the characters appearing in the picture are not important, or the characters occupy a small proportion of the picture, it is recommended to choose average metering;
- When the subject of live stream/ shooting is mainly about people or subjects in the center of the picture, it is recommended to select center metering;
- When the subject is uncertain, it is recommended to choose center average metering. - Why do high-frequency flickers appear when onAir captures certain lighting scenes?
This is caused by the mismatch between the frequency of the camera's Regional Format and the strobe frequency of the light, it can be solved by switching the camera's regional format.
Generally, countries such as China ( including Hong Kong), India, Pakistan use the PAL format, and the United States, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan use the NTSC format. - The camera does not perform any operations, even removing the battery does not help.
When encountering a crash or suspected crash state, due to the power supply characteristics of the camera, it cannot be restarted by unplugging the battery. Please try pressing and holding the camera power button ( left button) for at least 10 seconds to force the camera to shut down.
